yeah, i read the other day that one dealership inked a whole crapload of deals, and as of last week had been paid for one of them. it’s stupid, pathetic, unbelievable. the media continues to not talk about it. they hailed the incredible news of how certain automakers were hiring back some workers to meet the expected demand, but less than a week after that announcement the govt ceased the program. hmmm…and how about non-govt-owned ford motors whipping GM to death (which actually continued to lose sales) and the top sellers being asian cars? and most importantly, since we’re borrowing ALL of this money, why are we asking our grandchildren to give us a $4500 rebate on a car that depreciates at an incredible rate? STUPID!

i would definately reccomend that you use a sewing machine. there are many techniques to design that will involve hand sewing, but in order to be efficient and not get sick of your project, the construction should be done by machine. if you buy a new machine a reputable dealer should give you free lessons on operation of the machine. if you decide to purchase a used machine or get one from a damily member, look into the classes at jo-ann fabrics (if you have one close to you) they do an intro to machine sewing class that could get you started off on the right foot. good luck!
